MKX: Reptile Revealed but where's the surprise?. MKX Reptile revelado y dónde esta la sorpresa?

A few hours ago was officially announced a new character for MKX, the old and known Reptile Ninja. The appearance seems to be much more sinister and dark than previous version of MK9.

Reptile has some new movements and others who already had. In this era where the world is globalized because of the internet and technological advances in communications, we can know in few minutes about our favorite video games and here the main question of this post:

Where's the surprise?

I grew up in a time when the Internet was just a concept, when I was a kid I saw the first Mortal Kombat in Sacoa, a house of Arcade. The game fascinated me by their violence at that time see a little blood and a fatality was something spectacular while I was trying to understand a little about game's history, nobody knew English, I tried to interpret what happened. There was not almost magazines about games to explain the characters, the tricks and secrets were passed from person to person for example, how to make a fatality, etc.

When I wanted to know if there came a new version of the game, each time I passed by Sacoa, I went forward while my mom was walking and I checked out to see if had come something new, that was the moment when I got unconditional love for MK, there was a new arcade called MKII, I remember seeing the first fight two teenagers, they were using Kung Lao and other Reptile, it was a darker MK as previous, best music, more characters and  fatalities, Shang Shung was young!!! but few people could understand the history of the game and you didn't know anything until games had come.

I understand we have advertisement and marketing to show new games, showing characters, game modes, etc. but I think knowing less about it also generates attraction, which fighters will have, history and some other things I mentioned earlier.

I'm really excited with this new MK, I'll buy without hesitation but I believe I would have liked to know a little less about it because although I do not want to hear, I hear somewhere. Warner has already told us that the game will have 3 fighting styles for the characters, we know that you will be Kung Lao, Kitana, Reptile, Jonny Cage's daughter and Sonya, some fighting scenenarios, etc.

I personally believe, knowing less things you could have more surprises and more excited with a game.

I think I'm getting older and some things will not return to do as before but while I can keep playing video games, I do not have any problem.

Hace unas horas se acaba de anunciar oficialmente un nuevo personaje para MKX, el viejo y conocido Ninja Reptile. La apariencia se ve ahora mucho más siniestra y oscura comparado con la versión anterior de MK9.

Algunos nuevos movimientos y otros que ya poseía. En esta era en donde el mundo esta globalizado gracias a la internet y los avances tecnológicos en comunicaciones nos enteramos en pocos minutos novedades sobre nuestros video juegos favoritos y acá la pregunta principal de este post:

¿ Dónde esta el factor sorpresa?

Yo crecí en una época donde Internet solo era un concepto, cuando era chico conocí el primer Mortal Kombat en Sacoa, una casa de Arcade. El juego me fascino por la violencia que para esa época ver un poco de sangre y una fatality era algo espectacular mientras intentaba entender un poco la historia del juego que en aquellos tiempo nadie sabía Inglés, uno trataba de interpretar que sucedía. No había casi revistas sobre juegos para explicarnos de que trataba, que personajes había, los trucos y secretos se pasaban de persona a persona, etc.

Cuando quería saber si salió una nueva versión del juego, cada vez que pasaba por Sacoa, me adelantaba mientras mi mamá caminaba y me asomaba a ver si había llegado algo nuevo, ahí fue cuando me llego el amor incondicional por MK, había un nuevo arcade, se llamaba MKII, recuerdo ver la primera pelea dos adolescentes utilizando a Kung Lao y otro a Reptile, era un MK más oscuro que el anterior, con mejor música, con más personajes y fatality, Shang Shung era joven!!! pero pocos entendían la historia del juego y no te enterabas de nada hasta el día que llegará a la casa de video juegos.

Entiendo que hoy se hace publicidad de esta manera, mostrando las novedades de los juegos, sus personajes, modos de juego, etc. pero creo que saber poco sobre el mismo también genera atracción, que luchadores va a tener, la historia y varias de las cosas que mencione antes.

Estoy esperando con muchas ganas este nuevo MK, lo voy a comprar sin dudarlo pero creo que también me hubiese gustado saber un poco menos sobre el juego debido a que aunque no quiera escuchar me entero por algún lado. Ya nos han dicho que el juego va a tener 3 estilos de pelea para los personajes, ya sabemos que va a estar Kung Lao, Kitana, Reptile, la hija de Jonny Cage y Sony, algunos escenarios de pelea, etc.

A mí personalmente me parece que antes al saber menos cosas uno se sorprendía y se entusiasmaba mucho más con un juego.

Creo que me estoy poniendo viejo y algunas cosas no van a volver a hacer como antes pero mientras pueda seguir jugando video juegos no tengo problema.

DirectX 12 Exclusive for Windows 10. DirectX 12 exclusivo para Windows 10

As you may have heard in the last event of Microsoft, DirectX 12 will be exclusive to the new Windows 10. Microsoft has announced that Directx12 allow you to have a performance at least 50% more efficient in graphics and power consumption compared to the previous version but let's go to the important for us:

Which is the impact for us?

Keep in mind some variables if we want to use DirextX 12. Directx 12 will be possible only in Windows 10, it will not be supported in Windows 7 or 8.1 versions. If you do not want to migrate to the new version of the Microsoft's operating system, you will not be able to use it, the good news is that we will be able to upgrade to version 10 free forever if you have Win7 or 8.

What if we want to migrate to Win10 and use Directx 12?

If we want to use Windows 10 and we want to use DirectX 12 as well, we will need a graphic card that supports the new version, very important point to note because some manufacturers have not yet announced about how they will work with the new platform such as AMD. In short we will surely have to buy a new graphics card to take advantage of DirectX 12 with the 100% of the benefits, the video cards that have DirectX11 will support much of the benefits of the new platform but not all. We won't see any impact on XBOX platform.

What benefits brings us DirectX 12?

We will have the ability to play XBOX's games on our computer running Windows 10, the last presentation Redmond's giant, we could see a mini presentation of XBOX games running on Windows system via Streaming for example. If you are a fan of the XBOX but you do not want to buy the console to use because you want to use your computer, it is a good alternative that will surely change the development paradigm because the game developers will begin to create games for the XBOX store instead separately. The important point is that streaming does not work with keyboard and mousse, we will have to use a XBOX joystick to play it but there is not much information about it.

Final Conclusion

From our side if we buy a new computer with a motherboard that supports DirectX 12 and Windows 10, we should not have problems, for those who do not want to change your computer should look into some of the things mentioned above if the intention is use the new Directx mainly because Microsoft has no intention to support it on Windows 7 and 8.1, at least for now.

como habrán escuchado en el último evento de Microsoft, Directx 12 será exclusivo para el nuevo Windows 10. Microsoft ha anunciado que Directx12 permitirá tener un rendimiento al menos 50% más eficiente en gráficos y consumo energético con respecto a la versión anterior pero vamos a lo importante para nosotros: 

¿En que nos afecta a nosotros, los gamers? 

Hay que tener en cuenta algunas variables, si queremos utilizar Dirextx 12 solamente será posible en Windows 10, no será soportado en Windows 7 ni 8.1. Si no queremos migrar a la nueva versión del sistema operativo de Microsoft no podremos utilizarlo, la buena noticia es que por este año el upgrade a la versión 10 será gratuito si tenemos Win7 u 8 y de por vida.

¿Que sucede si queremos migrar a Win10 y utilizar Directx 12?

Si vamos a utilizar a Windows 10 y queremos utilizar Directx 12, vamos a necesitar una placa de vídeo que soporte la nueva versión, punto muy importante a tener en cuenta debido a que algunos fabricantes todavía no han anunciado como van a trabajar con la nueva plataforma como por ejemplo AMD. En pocas palabras seguramente vamos a tener que adquirir una nueva placa gráfica para aprovechar Directx 12 con el 100% de los beneficios, las placas que poseen Directx11 podrán soportar gran parte de las bondades de la nueva plataforma pero no todas. En XBOX no sufriremos impacto alguno.

¿Que beneficios trae DirectX 12?

Vamos a disponer juegos del catalogo de XBOX en nuestra computadora con Windows 10, en la última presentación del gigante de Redmond, pudimos ver una mini presentación de los juegos de XBOX ejecutándose en Windows vía Streaming por ejemplo. Si sos fanático de la XBOX pero no queres comprar la consola para poder utilizar tu computadora, es una buena alternativa que seguramente cambiara el paradigma de desarrollo debido a que ahora los desarrolladores de video juegos comenzarán a crear juegos para el store de XBOX en ves de forma separada para cada plataforma como sucede actualmente. El punto importante es que el streaming de consola no funciona igual con teclado y mousse, deberemos utilizar un joystick de XBOX para jugar en la pero todavía no esta muy claro el sistema de juego.

Conclusión

Sin lugar a dudas como he mencionado en anteriores post veremos una unificación de servicios importantes con Microsoft, la computadora,  celulares (Lumia), tablets y los video juegos empezarán a forma parte de un solo ecosistema.

Por nuestro lado si compramos una nueva computadora con una placa que soporte Directx 12 y con Windows 10 no deberíamos tener problemas, para el caso de los que no quieren cambiar su computadora deberán tener en cuenta alguna de las cosas anteriormente si pretenden utilizar el nuevo Directx sobretodo porque Microsoft no tiene intención alguna que sea soportado en Windows 7 y 8.1, al menos por ahora.

Trying Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS on Netbook MSI U135DX. Probando Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS en Netbook MSI U135DX.

Hello guys,

Today I will write about Linux Ubuntu for those who don't know about this OS.

If you have Windows OS installed on your computer, I suggest you this method to verify is your computer is fully compatible with Ubuntu system.  I wanted to install it on my old and little laptop MSI U135DX, it had a really bad performance with Win7.

We will need 3 things:

- A Pendrive 2GB or more.

- Download Universal USB installer for Windows.  (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/#button)

- Dowload Ubuntu either 32 bits for old computers or 64 bits for newest. (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop)

Attention: backup all your critical information in case to face issues.

Ubuntu ISOs are actually much lighter than Windows, in less than an hour we should have it downloaded.

1) The first step is make a bootable USB with Ubuntu's ISO with Universal USB application, just select the ISO image and the location of pendrive, the application will do everything.

2) Once the process is finished, restart your computer with the USB drive connected, your computer should start with the following screen. At this point I suggest you the "try Ubuntu whithout installation" option, this option will allow you to use Ubuntu without installing it from the Pendrive, allowing us verify if all our hardware is compatible with the operating system. As Linux uses generic drivers developed by communities and developers, often some devices of our PCs use proprietary drivers if they were not developed we will not be able to use plates Wi-Fi, printers, sound, etc. with this option you can check everything without regret later.

As can be displayed in the following image, we can see if our computer is able to connect to our Wi-Fi network something highly recommended to perform in case you later want to install the system on your disk, you will have the possibility to download the latest updates because Ubuntu is already connected to the network, it is sometimes not possible if we do directly.

3) Once you have checked all functionalities you are going to need, in the left panel or in the desktop you will see an icon that says "Install Ubuntu", it will start the installation wizard. If you pay attention down, be noticed that the internet connection is established enabling us to install the latest updates, if you prefer to do afterwards installation you can do it.

4) In the installation type selection select "Install Ubuntu alongside Windows 7", this will create a dual boot with both systems in case to need to use Windows.

Then the wizard will show the available space and future system partitions.

5) Configured all, the installation process will begin, just wait for it to finish and you will be enjoying Ubuntu installed on your computer.

6) After installation, you can start using Ubuntu, now you can begin to install all the applications you need from the terminal or software center, I recommend to upgrade to the latest versions.

The purpose of this mini guide was bringing to those who didn't know about Ubuntu or didn't know how easy it is to install this system, if someday you want to delete Windows OS and completely switch to Linux because you already know that your computer is 100% compatible, now you can do it or enjoy both systems.

As you could see, today is very simple and easy to install Ubuntu, this OS is very mature and stable, in my case I could install my printer, Google Drive, navigate Chronium the free version of Chrome, have Wi-fi, sound, etc. . without inconvenience and quickly.

Ubuntu is a great operating system with lots of applications,a lot of information for how to use or install, communities to help you with problems,  less risk to viruses and the best of all it is free !!!.

Hola amigos,

hoy voy a escribir sobre Ubuntu para aquellas personas que no conocen este interesante sistema operativo o no se animan a probarlo.

El método que voy a mostrar es el que les recomiendo utilizar para aquellos que no saben si su hardware es compatible con este OS y que tienen Windows ya instalado, mi intención fue instalarlo en una vieja Netbook MSI U135DX que realmente tenía una mala performance con Win7.

Vamos a necesitar tres cosas:

- Un pendrive de 2 GB o más.

- Descargar Universal USB installer para Windows. (http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/#button)

- Descargar Ubuntu de 32 bits para máquinas antiguas o 64 bits para más modernas. (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop)

Nota: realizar un backup de toda tu información en caso que haya algún problema.

Las ISOs de Ubuntu son realmente mucho más livianas que las de Windows, en menos de una hora deberíamos tenerla descargada en nuestra computadora.

1) El primer paso es realizar un USB booteable con la ISO de Ubuntu en nuestro Pendrive con la aplicación Universal USB, solo seleccionar la ISO, la ubicación del Pendrive y el programa hará todo.

2) Una vez que termina el proceso, reiniciamos nuestra computadora con el Pendrive conectado, debería iniciar con la siguiente pantalla. En este punto sugiero la opción "try Ubuntu whithout installation", esta opción nos permitirá utilizar Ubuntu desde el Pendrive sin instalarlo, lo que nos permitirá verificar si todo nuestra Hardware es compatible con el sistema operativo. Como Linux utiliza Drivers genéricos desarrollados por las comunidades o programadores, a veces algunos dispositivos de nuestras PCs que utilizan drivers privativos si no fueron desarrollados no podremos utilizarlos, como por ejemplo placas Wi-Fi, impresoras, sonido, etc. Con esta opción podremos revisar todo sin arrepentirnos posteriormente.

Como pueden visualizar en la siguiente imagen, ya podemos ver si nuestra computadora es capaz de conectarse a nuestra red de Wi-Fi, algo muy recomendable de realizar por si más tarde queremos instalar el sistema en nuestro disco, tendremos la posibilidad de descargar las últimas actualizaciones porque ya esta conectado a la red, en ocasiones no es posible si lo hacemos directamente. 

                                                               

3)  Una vez que hayan revisado todas las funcionalidades que vayan a necesitar, en el panel izquierdo o en el escritorio de Ubuntu van a ver un icono que dice "Install Ubuntu", esto comenzará el asistente de instalación. Si Prestan atención abajo, van a notar que la conexión a internet esta establecida lo que nos permitirá instalar las últimas actualizaciones, en caso que prefieran hacerlo luego de la instalación también podrán realizarlo.

                                                                                                                                                                  

    4) En el tipo de instalación, seleccionen "Install Ubuntu alongside Windows 7", esto creara un dual boot con ambos sistemas en caso que sigamos necesitando utilizar Windows.

                                                                                                                                                                       

 Luego el asistente nos mostrará el espacio disponible y las futuras particiones del sistema.                                     

 5) Una vez configurado todo, comenzará el proceso de instalación, solamente esperar a que termine y estarán disfrutando de Ubuntu instalado en tu computadora.                                                                             

                                                                     

                                                                                         
  6) Finalizada la instalación, ya pueden comenzar a utilizar Ubuntu, luego pueden empezar a instalar todas las aplicaciones que necesiten desde la terminal o centro de software, es recomendable actualizar el sistema a las últimas versiones.                                                                                                                

 

El propósito de esta mini guía fue acercarles a los que menos saben o no conocen lo sencillo que es instalar este sistema, si algún día quieren eliminar Windows y pasarse completamente a Linux, ya van a saber que su computadora es 100% compatible o si no disfrutar de ambos sistemas.

Como pudieron apreciar, hoy en día es muy sencillo instalar Ubuntu, este sistema operativo esta muy maduro y estable, en mi caso pude instalar mi impresora, Google Drive, navegar con Chronium la versión libre de Chrome, tener Wi-fi, sonido, etc. sin mayores inconvenientes y rápidamente.

Ubuntu es un gran sistema operativo con un montón de aplicaciones, muchas guías sobre como utilizarlas o instalarlas, comunidades para ayudarnos ante inconvenientes, con menos riesgos a virus y lo mejor de todo que es libre y gratuito!!!.

Hello my friends,

This is my first post of the year and I wanted to write a bit about Windows 10.

As you already know Microsoft announced that this year they will release Windows 10, some time ago Microsoft announ the version 9 of Windows system but we do not know what happened internally they decided to jump to version.

The first question that you have to ask yourself is what are the  new features of this new version due Windows 8 was still not widely adopted and many users still are using Windows XP even though there is no more support. The truth is Windows OS market is highly segmented, some users are still using XP and others Win 7 and 8. This is a big issue for Microsoft's people.

The main idea for Redmond giant is end this fragmentation and try to have a unique and unified system for computer desktops, tablets, smartphones and Xboxes.

Keep in mind that many companies preferred to continue with Win7 due to complaints from users on Win8 and the Metro interface. Microsoft had to make a complex decision in this matter because it has a large market share of computer desktops.

MS understood that the PCs are no longer the future, yes mobile devices and video games, it was the reason for creating Windows 8, unify all, although this version is as good as 7 the big criticism of desktop users was the absence of the start button, fixed in version 8.1, the Metro interface is awesome for Lumia cellphones, Xbox consoles and all in one computers but it is complicated on computers with mousse and keyboard, unfortunately Although Windows 8 is more modern and very similar to Win7 the big stain couldn't be removed and it is the reason why Microsoft  will intend to launch Windows 10, make a new, fresh and uncritically version that integrates the best of 7 and 8 into one.

The last big bet by Microsoft is developing a new browser to surf the internet. Internet Explorer is losing users and increasingly receives more criticism after version 6 although Redmond boys worked hard to recover them in later versions, they did not achieve the objective. Internet Explorer is safer but  it's very slow with many crashes and compatibility problems when the users only are asking for one thing: navigate quickly and smoothly.

Now the important question for us is:

Is it advisable to upgrade to Win10 when it goes on sale?

My first recommendation as a System Administrator, it is good idea to wait a few months to see how the OS is working and wait for feedback from users to see if there are errors or if they have to make corrections but my opinion is that yes, it will be convenient to migrate to Win10, I've used Windows systems for long time, Win7 and Win8 are two very good versions, currently in my notebook I´m using Windows 8.1 since some time without drawbacks.

Microsoft did a good job collecting suggestions and feedback from its users, a few months ago they launched a version called "technical preview" another sort of beta or release candidate of Win10  to collect these suggestions and errors, probably we will have a very stable version, almost equal to what happened with windows 7.

The most interesting reason will be integration with different devices, we could use the same applications that we use on our PCs, phones and Tablets. The platform should be unique. Google tried with their applications on Android and Chromebooks but they still couldn´t have much success. Google integration was achieved only with applications that work great on Android and Chromebooks devices. The difficulty is that Google does not have a robust desktop operating system, today users need to install many applications for working, studing, etc. Android is only a mobile OS and Chrome OS is only useful for Google applications which greatly limits to the users.

A final reason and not less important is we are not going to see major technical differences between Windows 7 and 8 as there was between XP and Win7.

Afterwards of the above mentioned things, the second important question for us:

What new stuff brings Windows 10?

- The return of the start menu and the development of a new browser.

- Copy and paste into the command Shell or the famous CMD, Finally!!!. Very useful if we are System Administrators or Developers. Includes other improvements.

-  A new notifications panel. We will see it in the right corner of your screen informing us about upgrading an application, movie dowloaded, application installed, etc. No longer the bubbles or balloons.

- Win 10 will offer an intuitive tool for installing patches and updates, which is usually a headache for businesses as well as a management tool to manage mobile devices within the enterprise.

- Full integration between Smartphones, Tablets and computers.

- Improvements in the classic Windows Explorer, now we can see the folders frequently used, favorite files and the ability to share with a click a photo on Facebook, a file in an email, a photo on Instagram, etc. which highlights the influence of the Internet in operating systems .

- Improved safety with two integrated authentication methods on the same core to prevent identity theft with malware or virus. The antivirus will have more tools to combat viruses such a folder where they can block malicious software, improvement encryption, etc.

- Search enhancements, now every time you look for something in the start menu, you will be doing on the Internet.

Final Conclusion

As I said there are huge profits to migrate to Windows 10, imagine having a tablet, connect a keyboard and mousse and start working as we are working in our PC. Access from our Lumia to the same information that we have in our PC or directly perform the same things with the addition of receiving our calls, check whatapp, etc.

Some people are against Microsoft products despite the use daily but the reality is that this company has been showing good successes in recent times, Xbox 360 was a total success fighting almost as equals against PS3, the Lumia phones always had good performance and good interface, the app store is growing every day and getting increasingly gaining market share, MS was one of the few companies to obtain profits last year. I'm a fan of Android as well but honestly since some time I noticed the platform is a little bit stagnant, there are improvements in the interface and some features with each new version but I could not get to have an ecosystem 100% Google, I believe that the growth of Microsoft in the mobile market will do the guys of the big G will not fall asleep on their laurels.

For competitors like Linux, I think it's time to think seriously about the users, as a fan of their OSs, I still do not see really a deep change to migrate 100% to open source platform, either for leisure or work. I see advances in user interface, software installation, etc. but no major changes such as last mentioned, I believe this is the main reason why Microsoft is leader of OSs and not because the user is stupid, the Windows user has all the ease and things to do whatever they want. This is something Linux's communities refuse to see, a shame because it would be nice to see that people are choosing a free and non-proprietary OS but we won't see this until they change their minds.


All told, I do not expect anyone to buy Microsoft's products, just give my view and opinion, migrate depends on each person. I only hope I have opened a couple of minds to make the decision or know very well the pros and cons.

Este es mi primer post de año y quería aprovechar un poco para escribir sobre Windows 10.
Como muchos ya saben Microsoft anuncio que este año saldrá a la venta Windows 10, hace un tiempo Microsoft anunció que iba a salir la versión 9 de su sistema pero no sabemos que sucedió internamente que decidieron saltar a la versión 10 que seria la 9 en realidad.

Lo primero que hay que preguntarse es que va a tener de novedosa esta versión ya que Windows 8 todavía no fue masivamente adoptado y muchos usuarios siguen con XP a pesar que no hay más soporte. La verdad que según los estudios de MS la cuota de mercado de su sistema operativo esta muy segmentado, hay una parte de los usuarios que sigue utilizando XP, una gran parte 7 y otra 8.

La idea del gigante de Redmond es terminar con esta fragmentación e intentar de tener un sistema unificado para los usuarios de escritorios, tablets, Xboxs y smartphones. 

Hay que tener en cuenta que muchas empresas prefirieron seguir con 7 debido a la quejas de sus usuarios con 8 y la interfaz metro. Microsoft tuvo que tomar una decisión compleja en este asunto ya que posee una gran cuota del mercado de computadoras de escritorio.

MS entendió que las PCs ya no son el futuro, si los dispositivos móviles y video juegos, este fue el motivo de la creación de Windows 8, unificar todo, si bien esta versión es tan buena como 7 la gran critica de los usuarios de escritorios es la ausencia del botón inicio, algo solucionado en la versión 8.1, la interfaz metro es genial para celulares Lumia, Xbox y dispositivos táctiles pero complicada para utilizar con mousse y teclado, desafortunadamente a pesar que Windows 8 es mas moderno y muy parecido a 7, la mancha quedó y por eso ahora la intención de lanzar Windows 10, realizar una versión nueva, fresca y sin critica que integre lo mejor de 7 y 8 en una sola.

La última gran apuesta por parte de Microsoft es desarrollar un nuevo browser para navegar por internet. Internet Explorer viene perdiendo usuarios y cada vez recibe más criticas, luego de la versión 6 a pesar que los chicos de Redmond trabajaron muy duro para recuperarlos en las versiones posteriores, no lograron el objetivo. Internet Explorer se volvió un navegador muy seguro pero muy lento, con muchos cuelgues y problemas de compatibilidad cuando el usuario solo pretende una sola cosa: navegar rápido y sin problemas.

Ahora la pregunta importante para nosotros sería:

¿Es conveniente pasarnos a la versión 10 cuando salga a la venta?

La primera recomendación que hago como técnico, es bueno esperar unos meses a ver como funciona el OS y esperar el feedback de los usuarios en caso que existan errores o haya que realizar correcciones pero mi opinión es que sí, va a ser conveniente migrar a 10, he utilizado los sistemas Windows por mucho tiempo, 7 y 8 son dos muy buenas versiones, actualmente en la notebook de la oficina estoy utilizando Windows 8.1 desde hace algún tiempo sin inconvenientes.

Esta vez MS hizo una buena tarea recolectando sugerencias y feedback de sus usuarios, hace unos meses salio la versión "technical preview" otra suerte de beta o release candidate de 10 pero que ahora iba a recopilar dichas sugerencias e información de errores, seguramente al momento de salir al mercado tendremos una version muy estable, prácticamente igual a lo que sucedió con windows 7.

La razón más interesante va a ser la integración con los diferentes dispositivos, podríamos utilizar las mismas aplicaciones que utilizamos en nuestra PC, celular y Tablets sin cambio alguno. La plataforma debería ser única. Esto mismo intento Google con sus aplicaciones, Android y Chromebooks pero todavía no gozo de mucho exito. La integración en Google solo se logro con sus aplicaciones que funcionan muy bien en Android y Chromebooks. Lo difícil es que Google no cuenta con un robusto sistema operativo de escritorio, hoy los usuarios necesitan instalar muchas aplicaciones para trabajar, Android es solo un sistema para celulares y Chrome OS solo es muy útil para las aplicaciones de Google lo cual limita mucho al usuario.

Una última razón para el cambio es que no va a ver grandes diferencias técnicas entre Windows 7 y 8 como si la hubo entre XP y 7.

Luego de mencionado todo lo anterior la segunda pregunta importante para nosotros:

¿ Que novedades nos trae Windows 10?

- El regreso del menú inicio y el desarrollo de un nuevo navegador.

- Copiar y pegar dentro de el command Shell o el famoso CMD, este hace años se debería poder haber hecho, los que somos administradores de servidores o desarrolladores entendemos muy bien la utilidad de esta función que puede parecer innecesaria para muchos. Incluye otras mejoras más.

- Panel de notificaciones relevantes. Lo vamos a visualizar en la esquina derecha de nuestra pantalla informándonos sobre la actualización de alguna aplicación, que termino alguna descarga, etc. Ya no más las viejas burbujitas o globitos.

- Ofrecerá una herramienta intuitiva para la instalación de parches y actualizaciones, algo que suele ser un dolor de cabeza para las empresas como también una herramienta de administración de dispositivos para manejar los móviles dentro de la empresa.

- Integración total entre smartphones, Tablets y computadoras.

- Mejoras en el clásico explorador de Windows o Windows Explorer, ahora veremos las carpetas frecuentemente utilizadas, archivos favoritos y la posibilidad de compartir con un click con el Ribbon de office o una foto en Facebook lo que resalta la influencia de Internet en los sistemas operativos.

- Mejoras en la seguridad como autentificación de dos factores integrada en el mismo núcleo para evitar robo de identidad de malware o virus. Los antivirus tendrán más herramientas para combatir virus por ejemplo una carpeta en donde podrán bloquear software malicioso, encriptación, etc. 

- Mejoras en las búsquedas, ahora cada vez que busquemos algo en el menú inicio, también lo estaremos haciendo sobre internet.

Conclusión

Como he dicho hay grandes utilidades para migrar a Windows 10 cuando salga, imagínense tener una tablet, conectar un teclado y mousse y comenzar a trabajar igual como si fuese nuestra computadora de escritorio. Acceder desde nuestro Lumia a la misma información que tenemos en nuestra PC o directamente realizar las mismas cosas con el agregado de recibir nuestras llamadas, tener whatapp, etc.

Entiendo que hay público para todos los gustos y hay personas que están en contra de los productos de Microsoft a pesar que los utilizan día a día pero la realidad es que esta empresa viene dando buenos aciertos en el último tiempo, Xbox 360 fue un éxito total luchando casi de igual a igual contra la PS3, los celulares Lumia siempre tuvieron buena performance y buena interfaz, la tienda de aplicaciones esta creciendo cada día más y logrando ganar cada vez más cuota en el mercado, MS fue una de la pocas empresas en obtener beneficios el año pasado. Soy un fan de Android también pero sinceramente hace un tiempo noto la plataforma un poco estancada, hay mejoras en la interfaz y algunas funcionalidades con cada versión nueva pero no he podido lograr tener un ecosistema 100% Google, creo que el crecimiento de MS en el mercado móvil va a hacer que los chicos de la gran G no se queden dormidos en los laureles.

Para los competidores como Linux, creo que es momento que algún día piensen en serio en el usuario, como fan de sus SOs, todavía no logro ver realmente un gran cambio profundo para poder migrar 100% al open source, ya sea por ocío o por trabajo, veo avances en la interfaz de usuario, instalación de programas, etc. pero no grandes cambios como los mencionados, por algo Microsoft es lider de SOs y no porque el usuario sea mediocre, todo lo contrario el usuario tiene en Windows toda la facilidad y cosas para hacer lo que quiera. Esto es algo que todavía las comunidades de Linux y sus usuarios se niegan a ver, una lástima porque sería hermoso ver que la gente se pasa a un OS libre y no propietario pero hasta que no se haga ese cambio de mentalidad en Linux, difícil que suceda.

Dicho todo lo anterior, no pretendo que nadie compre los productos de Microsoft, solo doy mi punto de vista y opinión, de pasarse depende de cada persona. Solamente espero haber abierto un par de mentes para que al momento de tomar la decisión o no sepan muy bien los pro y contras.

Is it appropriate to hire PSN Plus or not?, ¿conviene contratar PSN Plus o no?

The idea of this post is to exchange ideas if it is really useful and convenient acquire membership of PSN Plus, for those unfamiliar with this system I will explain them briefly.

PSN Plus is a membership that can be hired for one month, three months and one year, the benefits are multiple and store our data sets and saved games in the Playstation Cloud, schedule system updates automatically, play full demos for a period of time and the highlight of the membership is expensive to download free or at a discount that would not be possible to access games with a standard account.

I live in Argentina, we are currently experiencing a strong restriction on the dollar, imports of products is virtually closed and buying PS3 games on shops in Argentinian pesos is usually very expensive because the price is recharged by taxes, rents local, freight and other traders often face and Argentine clients.

To tease all these drawbacks, I created a PSN account USA and I started buying games via PS Store, this means that while prices are in US dollars, are much more economical than buying directly on shops.

Two years ago, I hired membership PSN plus one year and I renewed by second time, the amount of money I saved with this wonderful system is amazing, I´ve downloaded, I've played and I've finished many expensive titles like Tomb Raider, AC I, II, Brotherhood, Revelations, DS 3 Blndelanders 2 Batman Arkham City 2, PES 2014 just for mentioning some of them in my mind, spectacular games, a fanatic gamer like me would never have been able to play them if I had to buy each one with the current prices for these lands. Most of them free or really inexpensive.

In my case play all that I can and I really membership should understand that there are players who are just fans of a game or two and would spend hours just with those games, which is another way of playing.

No attempt to encourage them to hire the service, just sharing experiences, last week I bought the AC Black Flag, it was a 15 u$$ on the PS Store and 12 u$$ with PS Plus, really cheap. In an inflationary country as Argentina is the most cost-effective alternative heretoday.

Having said all this, is it appropriate to hire PSN Plus or not? What do you think?

Hola gente, 

La idea de este post es intercambiar ideas si es realmente útil y conveniente adquirirla membresia de PSN Plus, para los no están familiarizados con este sistema se los explico brevemente. 

PSN plus es una membresia que se puede contratar por un mes, tres meses y un año, las ventajas son varias como almacenar nuestros datos de juegos y partidas guardadas en la nube (cloud) de Playstation, programar actualizaciones del sistema de forma automática, jugar demos full por un periódico de tiempo determinado y el plato fuerte de la membresia que es descargar juegos caros gratis o con un importante descuento que no sería posible de acceder con una cuenta estándar. 

Yo vivo en Argentina, actualmente estamos viviendo una fuerte restricción al dólar, la importación de productos está prácticamente cerrada y comprar juegos de PS3 en casas de electrodomésticos o juegos en pesos argentinas suele ser muy caro debido a que del precio se recarga por impuestos, alquileres de locales, fletes y otros gastos que suelen enfrentar los comerciantes y clientes argentinos. 

Para burlas todos estos inconvenientes cree una cuenta de PSN USA (ver otro post aquí) y empecé a comprar juegos por este medio que si bien son en precio dólar, son muchos más económicos que comprarlos directamente en un local.

Hace ya dos años contrate la membresia de PSN plus de un año, ya la renové por segunda ocasión, la cantidad de dinero ahorrado que logré con este maravilloso sistema es increíble, he descargado, jugado y terminado muchos títulos caros como: Tomb Raider, AC I, II, Brotherhood, Revelations, DS 3, Blndelanders 2, Batman Arkham City 2, PES 2014 por mencionar los que tengo más en mi memoria, juegos espectaculares que un gamer fanático como yo jamás hubiese podido jugar a ellos si tuviese comprar uno por uno y a los precios que circulan por estas tierras. La mayoría de ellos de manera gratuita o realmente muy económica. 

En mi caso juego a todo lo que puedo y realmente me conviene la membresia, entiendo que hay jugadores que solo son fanáticos de un juego o dos y le dedican horas a solo esos juegos, lo cual es otra manera de jugar. 

No intento incentivarlos a contratar el servicio, solamente compartir experiencias, la semana pasada compre el AC Black Flag que estaba a 15 u$$ en la PS Store, y con la PSN plus a 12 u$$, realmente muy barato. En un país inflacionario es la alternativa mas rentable que hay hoy en día. 

Dicho todo esto ¿conviene contratar PSN Plus o no? ¿Que opinan?
